Strutting Her Stuff!

Without...and finally, with shorts! These were taken on Friday night before heading to dinner. Morgan declared that she was ready to go!  And we did, as soon as the shorts requirement was met!

Donuts

While my girls have eaten donuts previously (courtesy of others), I had never crossed the line of actually going into a donut shop to buy them. Last Thursday, I crossed that line. On Sunday morning, we crossed it again - allowing icing and messy sprinkles!  Morgan ate the purple icing & sprinkles off first - before the rest of the donut.  Regan worked her way slowly through each bite! Summer time specials ~!

Pinkalicious Musical

Family outing yesterday to see The Musical Pinkalicious! Regan loves plays! This was Morgan's 1st - she sat on my lap mesmerized and never said a word! It didn't hurt that we had front row seats! This was our 3rd play at Main Street Theater. Madeline & Junie B. Jones Christmas were seen previously.

It's Potty Time!!

Week #1 has been quite a success!! We started last Sat am w/ a potty watch & had a few successes on the baby training potty (no accidents)! On Sun, we didn't want the watch or the baby potty - just the big potty w/out the extra seat, but w/ a step stool (which now accessorize each of our toilets!) - & had two accidents (but we also had a successful #2 on the potty = extra points in my book!). At school, we averaged 2 accidents M-W & then no accidents since Wed!! We run to the potty now - & usually don't want Mom or Dad around! She has gotten up during the middle of a cartoon, at a restaurant & at the playground to tell me she needs to go! I'm crossing my fingers for continued success! [TMI = potty pics!]

Summer School at Pines

Regan has worked on origami, experienced the concept of making a sale and using money, and has learned how to write her name in cursive. These "time tests" came home this week. The teacher reminded the class, "This is not camp, but summer school" - yet, Regan finds the learning activities fun!

All Smiles for Pictures!

It is usually hit or miss, but last Friday the smiles were there! I actually purchased more than the one pose special! Albeit repetitive (& in their same dresses), we captured some sweet moments for their photo albums (even w/ the cheesy background on one)!      [REE - 6 yrs, 1 mos.; MEE - 2 yrs, 7 mos]Sisters! I love Morgan's soft curls - hopefully, they will last a little longer than Regan's did!
I'm not pleased with the VERY low resolution on the "purchased" CD, but I'm still sharing...One more picture of the girls...

Third Time's the Charm!

The smocked birthday dress was money well spent! Thanks to cousin Keri for passing it along! (Kate, Morgan & most recently, Harper).  I'm sure that it will be passed along again for another birthday girl!

Happy 4th of July!

We enjoyed our Annual July 4th Parade in Kingwood! I love Morgan's excitement of the "FWAGS"!!A casual family pic...
