Charlotte's Web

We took the girls to see Charlotte's Web at Main Street Theater today. It was interesting watching people play act as animals. Morgan really liked the spider and was sad when Charlotte died!

Birthday Party Fun!

Morgan attended a friend's b-day party at the park.  It had a "space" theme! Lots of fun ~ !

Runners United to Remember

A few girls from Kingwood coordinated a Boston Marathon "runners united" run this am. We did the family 1 mile walk - (actually 2 miles b/c we didn't see the turnaround sign)! Regan ran non-stop!

My quick trip to Portrait Innovations on Good Friday didn't go very smoothly.  Regan managed to have a bad hair day - thanks to yours truly.  However, a great pic of Morgan smiling was captured.

My Poetry Winner!! ~ 2013

I'm such a proud momma today!!  Regan won the poetry contest for her 1st grade class (she also won in her Kindergarten class last year). One child from each class (K - 5) recited a poem in front of all students this morning.  Regan was super excited, confident, spoke clearly & loudly, and did an amazing job reciting her poem word for word!!  Her teacher, Mrs. Jones, was ALMOST as proud as me!

Regan's 1st Trip to NYC ~ !

Car, bus, airplane, and a cab ride started the trip! On our walking adventure: street vendor fun, The Big Piano (from movie "Big" @ FAO Schwartz), Radio City, Rockefeller Center, & Eloise at The Plaza.
More walking:  Empire State Building (another clear, cold day), trip to NYC Public Library (to see the original "Pooh and friends"); American Girl Doll store, & special evening show to Cinderella!

Subway ride to get on harbor cruise to see the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, Brooklyn & Manhattan Bridges. We ended the day with afternoon play at Central Park! Great trip!
