Swim Team Wrap-up: Season 1 Complete!

Pool party and awards ceremony completed the swim team season.  A busy, but good experience!

Cinderella Production @ KHS

The girls continue to enjoy plays & musicals.  This one was again local & done by 3rd-8th graders during a 2 week summer program.  The girls were glued to their seats for this story! Considering we did this AFTER swim team and a play date w/ Landry - I had two tired little girls by bedtime!!

50th Wedding Anniversary Celebration

Enjoyed visiting with family in Bastrop at Hyatt's Hill Country Resort - all the cousins loved pool time! With a defunct camera, I only captured a few pictures, but the memories will remain!

Swim Meet - Sand Creek vs. Greentree

Another swim meet - unfortunately, our team lost, but Regan continued to improve her times on
breaststroke and freestyle! Regan enjoyed "competing" against her friend Landry's team!

This is how Morgan and I arrived to the meet. Quite the vision in her fairy wings that she insisted on wearing, but she kept them on for HOURS (& loved the attention)! [Ballet pose on right.]

They call this fun? Morgan has been quite the trooper this past month! Thankfully, each meet has junk food, splash/mist areas, kids & playgrounds!  Note: Letters..."Christopher" on page.

It's Official...She's been promoted to 2nd grade!

Last day of 1st grade! I pray that Regan will always love school, reading & the learning process as much as she does today! We were blessed to have such a wonderful teacher in Mrs. Jones!

Pep Rally - Fun Day

Regan participated in cheer camp again - & enjoyed this morning's pep rally b/4 "fun day" begun!

Morgan's Projects

In addition to drawing beautiful rainbows - and coloring every inch of a piece of paper - Morgan has been doing a significant amount of tracing activity at school.  Note the barn animals and stars!

Regan's Projects

REE did several really good reports this year:  robots, butterflies vs. moths, frogs vs. toads, unique houses & favorite butterfly.  While you can't "see" them, I wanted to document some of her work.

Swim Meet - Sand Creek vs. Eagle Springs

Regan enjoyed swimming & seeing her classmate (& rival), Hayden, at this weekend's meet. Sarah snapped the shot of REE while Christopher's hand/recording of the event is also captured! I cheered from other side! [How 'bout that blue mouth? - gotta love snow cones - great fuel for event!]

Morgan had special alone time with Sarah - who graciously offered to take Morgan to the neighbor- hood splash and play area around the corner! Morgan had a great time!! Thanks, Sarah!
