Happy Thursday!

Morgan asked for her picture to be taken this morning as we walked into her classroom - so, I certainly jumped on that request. She was pretty in pink & her big sister was game for a pic too! Luv my girls! :)

 

Morgan's 1st Day of PreK-3 ~ !

Morgan was excited to return to school and her friends (and teacher, Ms. Andie). But has probably missed her daily afternoon nap, mostly! She has gone two weeks without a nap!! She didn't miss a beat this am - but sat down next to Brendan for breakfast and was ready to start her day!!

Bike Ride Fun

We took our 1st family bike ride on Sunday afternoon (usually, Mom & Dad are running, huffing, and puffing next to our children as they ride their bikes!).  Morgan was thrilled to try the "bike extender" (which Regan never liked so it has remained sitting in the garage).  After riding to the lake (& with everyone anxious to ride more), we extended our trip to include the full loop back home - just over 6 miles - before hitting the pool!  Regan did excellent! Perfect training for her upcoming Sept triathlon!

2nd Grade Starts ~ Mrs. Kaden's Class!

Regan was super excited about starting 2nd grade this morning! She seems to have a good group of kids in her classroom this year! I've heard the teacher is excellent, but runs a tight ship! We can handle that!

Pool Day

Immediately following a 3 mile stroller/bike ride, we girls had a day of fun in the sun at the pool!

Second Cousins

Last Day of Summer School @ Pines

The Rainforest studies (& Friday am donut stops) have ended for the summer! The girls loved both summer sessions!  Now, they get a few weeks of true "summer break" b/4 Pre-K3 & 2nd grade begin! [Below pic:  "Show & Tell" for parents was held yesterday.]
