The Living Wax Musuem: Benjamin Franklin

Regan was assigned Benjamin Franklin for her biography on a historical figure.  She did the work in class, but parents were asked to help with the costume preparation.  We purchased the wig and scarf; Sarah lent us a vest and coat, and we made the kite as a prop.  We think it turned out great!!

Parents' Night.  All families were invited for an evening at the "Living Wax Museum".  We had to talk to (and ask questions to) the characters (not the student).

Enjoyable, educational evening.  Great projects and costumes! Abigail Adams (Macy), Ben, Anne Franks (MacKenzie), and Annie Oakley (Neina); Thomas Edison shown below (Ryan).

Birthday Party Fun

Morgan attended best buddy Brenden's birthday at Jumpalooza. It was great seeing the Pines gang!

Morgan and Reese picked up where they left off - and just played non-stop together too!

Our tree has beautiful foliage in Dec & Jan - the leaves slowly turn a brilliant red before falling off.

New Year's Day Run - 2015 Kingwood Half Marathon

Sarah & I enjoyed our slow, but steady 1/2 marathon this am in the cold and rain. Good start to 2015!
