Universal Studios, a.k.a.Harry Potter Land (Day 2)

We stepped into the Harry Potter world. Gringotts (money exchange) & Olivanders (wands)

We rode the Hogwarts Express - to visit both parks at Universal (Diagon Alley & Hogsmeade)

Knight Bus; Hogswart - we rode our most action-packed rollercoaster ride here!

Trying Butter Beer - It's what wizards drink! A non-alcoholic butterscotch flavored creme soda!

The Mystic Fountain - Regan & Morgan enjoyed talking & wishing w/ the voice stuck in the well.

Seuss Landing - All rides were exciting! Loved the rain as it kept everyone at home!!  We rode rides multiple times w/ no wait! [Jurassic Park was under repair, but we loved Pteranodon Flyers]

Enjoyed our time at Universal.  We hit all the major attractions - and did everything Harry Potter!!

Disney - Magic Kingdom (Day 1)

Magic Kingdom never loses its "magic". This was Morgan's 4th trip; Regan's 6th trip!

The Sword in the Stone was a bit more meaningful after Regan's recent study of King Arthur.

Our longest wait for the day: meeting Elsa and Anna! 90 minute wait when the park OPENED! :) It only took 15 minutes to see the "other" princesses, Rapunzel and Cinderella.

Enchanted Tales with Belle. 2nd year that we saw this "show" - but this year, both girls were selected for a part! Regan was Maurice (Belle's father in the cell); Morgan was Philippe the horse.

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad - 1st of many rollercoaster rides this trip!

New ride at Magic Kingdom:  Seven Dwarfs Mine Train - another roller coaster ride!

We ended the evening w/ a carrousel ride...and a final long (but worth the) wait flight w/ Peter Pan.

Dinner with Cinderella (Arrival Day)

Enjoyed a fairly good dinner and enjoyable evening with Cinderella and her Prince Charming!

The stepmother and stepsisters made their appearance as well - funny group of ladies!!

Allergies

We finally had Morgan tested for allergies.  On the left, the initial shots; on the right, the reaction to the shots (after 20 min wait).  Morgan is allergic to trees, grass, mold, and dust mites.  The only food allergy that flared up was peanut butter, but the dr said it may only be a mild reaction if she is already exposed to it. These tests are not as thorough on the food side.  Allergy shots are the next option.

Gymnastics Update

While Regan plans to take a break from gymnastics, both girls continue to enjoy & improve.

Morgan is getting more confident with her handstands and cartwheels.

Mardi Gras

The Pre-K classes had an early afternoon Mardi Gras parade.  M loved to say "Fat Tuesday"!

MEE Reading

M is learning her sight words and enjoying the chance to show off her reading skills to Gigi & Pops.

Enjoying the outdoors, when good weather allows!

Enjoyed the "teenage" play, Stargirl.  Good moral = be true to yourself, don't let anyone change you.  Both girls had Valentine's Day parties, but I only captured one pic of Morgan & BFF, Kaitlyn.
