Davy Crockett

The 4th grade has done substantial studies on Texas history this year. Each student had to prepare a presentation on an influential and/or famous Texan. Regan drew the "King of the Wild Frontier". Davy Crockett died at the Alamo in the Texas Revolution.

Blue Bell Fun Run - 5K, Brenham

We had a great time in Brenham. Regan & Christopher did a timed run/walk; Morgan and I walked it - the "all you can eat" Blue Bell Ice Cream made it worth the trip! Organized run & great shirts!

Jump Rope for Heart

Kindergarten didn't participate this year, but all parents were encouraged to join their kids on the track. 4th graders jumped rope and ran the track.  Kids collect a stick for each lap.  The laps add up.  If parents partake, their laps count too. Usually, there is some competition between classes/grades. After Regan's group finished the walk, a group of her friends started jump roping together! So sweet!!
