Our American Girl Visit

We girls enjoyed a trip to The American Girl doll store.  The girls have poured over the AG magazines for months! Morgan finally selected her doll - the 2016 girl of the year, Lea.

The Lion King @ KHS - Summer Theatre Program

Lion King was the 2nd summer production at KHS.  The 2pm show was sold out! 7pm was full too!

Regan was part of the ensemble, including a "bird" role and part of the "jungle/forest chorus"...

The other characters included lionesses, monkeys, zebras, giraffes, & gazelles - to name just a few.

Regan described this play as her "most difficult" - hardest & most choreography/dance and songs

Leah and David, and cousins, Caden & Harper - as well as Gigi and Pops joined us for the show!

Austin , San Antonio & New Braunfels Trip

Day 1: Fun, busy week in Austin area! First up, Finding Dory movie at Alamo Drafthouse Cinema.

Day 2: San Antonio - we toured the Alamo

The girls especially loved the picture taking that I required this week. Tired, hot, squinty smiles!

River Walk.  We took a 30 minute boat ride of the area and shopped the Market Square.

Day 3: New Braunfels - Schlitterbahn (Made up word: "Slippery Road" in German)

The girls love the waterpark! Lots of tubing today!

Lion King - CYT Camp

My gazelle.  Morgan participated in a week long Lion King camp sponsored by Christian Youth Theater (CYT). They put on a small show today.  She danced and sang - and even had one line.

All the 5-7 year olds made their own animal masks.
