Tri Aggieland Weekend

Two early morning wake-up calls.  Saturday morning.  Morgan's biggest supporter, big sis Regan!
Morgan completed her 1st Aggieland Kids Triathlon in 30:37 and was 1st in her gender/age group in the category with other "mountain bikes" (non-road bikes)!

We did a few photo ops of one of my favorite towns.  We explained that Aggies say "Gig'em" and learned that the Gig'em sign was the first collegiate hand-sign of the Southwest Conference! Regan still tried to tell me that "it's just a thumbs up sign, Mom!"
The girls weren't excited about the "dunking of the ring" tradition done at Dixie Chicken. They were, however, amazed at the bottle cap alley!
Last stop - this trip - was at the entrance to Texas A&M. And, we attempted a family selfie (or 2).
Sunday morning.  C & I finished our 3rd Annual Aggieland Triathlon.  Neighbor Mary did it too!

Beach Trip - Orange Beach, Alabama

Long weekend to the beach. We stayed at Seaside Beach & Racquet Club and enjoyed a great view from our balcony.  The girls loved the beach, but 3 days was the perfect amount of time!  The early mornings and evening times were our favorite.  We had a 3 day family Monopoly game - MEE won! Boogie boards were a huge hit.  My attempt to find a non-broken sand dollar was not successful!
