It's starting to be "year-end'' banquet time...first up, KHS Cheer Banquet. This will be the first and last one for Regan. It has been a great Freshman Cheer experience, but it had too many conflicts with her first love, theatre! Regan has decided not to do JV Cheer next year. She will miss some sweet friends!

Oops, they did it AGAIN!! Awarded over Zoom call! So proud of this UIL group. They have worked SO HARD & continue to improve even with last minute cast changes! 💖this experience for R! Not to mention, she is the ONLY Freshman in the show!! More practice ahead as they prepare for April 17th!
Regan spent her entire Spring Break week preparing and submitting her audition material & application. Her hard work paid off. She was accepted and looks forward to the opportunity!!
Ollie has now officially been with us for 2 years...he loves his people, esp. once we sit & get comfy!
2-day volleyball tournament at George R. Brown Convention Center...Morgan played more & got to try her serve again. Definitely moving better on the court - lots of improvements since 1st tournament!
Howdy from College Station...M & I enjoyed the day - walking the campus, visiting the Bonfire Memorial, eating lunch and, of course, buying a few new t-shirts before heading home!
Regan celebrated her friend, Erin's, 15th birthday...with Escape Room fun and dinner!
Big day for our 5th grader! Morgan was so excited for this event. It is the last "big event" before their elementary years end. Special dress and special lunch. The event was held outside because of COVID! Pictures taken with close friends and her teacher, Mrs. Watson!
5th Grade "Egg Drop" project...it worked great at home with our large egg; unfortunately, the teacher used "small/regular" eggs and so the egg fell out of her design.
From Art class: Bug = used pastels & watercolors; Longhorn = "Rodeo art" with watercolors & black ink rolled over it; Circle art = coffee filter with repetitive design; Mask = used cardboard & pastels - concept was from artist who liked imperfection of art (all art has a beauty!).
Wow - This show was very good! Lots of unique fairy tales told and intertwined. Unique, but well put together. The judges gave them 2nd place - so now they compete again at the next level!
Lots of "rebranding" due to potential discrimination (gender of a toy!?) &/or racial stereotypes...now kids books? When will censorship begin for rap songs, video games & dress/behavior of "celebrities"?
