NYC - Day 4 (Final Day)

NYC - Started the final morning with a 7am Soul Cycle class; then, we grabbed some caffeine before heading over to The Today Show - just in time to give Al Roker a fist bump.  As we left, they were interviewing Selena Gomez and her fiancĂ©.  The morning went quickly as we had an early afternoon flight.  It was a perfect trip until the end - I left my backpack in the Uber. :(

A quick visit to the M&M store because...well, why not?

Someone was super happy that we were home!!

NYC - Day 3 (Central Park, The Plaza, & John Proctor)

Day 3 - Started with an 8am Soul Cycle class; bagels at Zuckers (new place); another new coffee place; then we just walked Central Park albeit a cold and rainy day;

Shakespeare statue in Central Park
Lunch and dessert at Serendipity...shared a 3-scoop sundae with Regan...although we failed to take a "before we dumped the sundae onto the plate" photo!

Walked into Louis Vuitton and Tiffany's just "to look" around...

...walked through The Plaza to snag another look and photo with Eloise.

Final night in NYC...

Last show - show #3:  John Proctor is the Villain (this is the show that SMU will be performing in April 2025).  It was "opening night" - or, "opening preview night".  Great play - Sadie Sink starred!

New York City - Day 1 and 2! (Hell's Kitchen & Cabaret)

Day One: We arrived in NYC with time to grab dinner before show #1 - Hell's Kitchen, based loosely on Alicia Keys early years and her music. Beautiful show, with great actors, singing & dancing.

Day Two:  Started the day with bagels from my favorite deli, coffee stop #1, and then stood in line for The Kelly Clarkson show...4 hours later, we strolled around the city and enjoyed lunch outdoors.

(the other side of the NBC Studios building)
Couldn't resist a photo in front of the theatre showcasing Chicago!!

We learned that it's hard to capture a photo in front of St. Patrick's Cathedral.

Lunch at Bryant Park...

Enjoyed The New Yorker exhibit at The NYC Public Library....

Couldn't pass up the opportunity to see the beginning of Christopher Robin's Pooh!
They have changed the layout of the Pooh exhibit since our last visit.
Show #2:  Cabaret - Wow, wow, wow - outstanding!!!
