Magic Kingdom 2012 (Day 1)

Enjoyed a day at Magic Kingdom! Daisy Duck met us at the entrance! The girls were in awe!

Morgan slowly warmed up to the characters! For starters, she managed to hand her autograph book to each of them! No hugs - yet! Christopher enjoyed his birthday cupcake at 8am!!

Morgan gave her first hug to Sleeping Beauty - and even danced with Snow White!! Morgan's favorite princess is Snow White - and we were fortunate enough to meet her that morning!

Stroller Rides and Naps (2011 & 2012)!

Loved the teacup ride; Regan enjoyed driving for the 1st time; Meeting Rapunzel was worth the wait!

Animal Kingdom - 1st Visit! (Day 2)

Started the morning w/ Donald, Daisy, Mickey & Pluto at The Tusker House!



Safari Ride, Face Painting, Lion King & Pocahontas!

Enjoyed seeing the animals; Morgan especially liked petting the goats! Regan was selected to participate in The Lion King show! Seeing Pocahontas & Thumper were a great surprise!

Etter Family Visit (Day 3)

Christopher enjoyed a run with David (while Monica and I took the girls to the park); When the guys returned, we enjoyed a short 3 mile run.  Then, we all headed to packet pick-up.  The visit is never complete without an ice cream from Twistee Treat!! Regan made signs for Monica and me; sang w/ Uncle David and showed off her train track design with Aunt Monica! Early to bed!!



Princess Half Marathon - 5:30am Start! (Day 4)

Monica's 1st half marathon! We finished in 2:23 - not bad considering we had 1 pit stop, 3 picture ops (Pocahontas, Army Man (Toy Story), & Ant (Bug's Life)), & multiple H2O station stops!! We saw our family at 4 different spots along the 13.1 route!! We LOVED having the family support!! :)

Heading Home (Feb 26) - Cousins (2011 vs. 2012)

It has been 1 year since their last visit/picture!  Wow - how the kids/cousins have grown!

Enjoyed watching Regan's excitement while receiving her first manicure and pedicure yesterday!

Austin Trip - Big/Little Sis - Half Marathon

Enjoyed a quick trip to Austin! Strong rain storms passed, but allowed for a clear, cool, sunny day for the Austin half marathon! The girls loved playing, baking cookies & hanging out w/ Gigi and Pops(ie)!

Somebunny Loves You!

It is "red envelope" day at work (finally!).  So, Christopher had the privilege to take the girls to school this morning (in my place), but he didn't take any pictures! Happy Valentine's Day! :)

Send-a-Ball via Postal Mail - Who Knew?

What a treat!  The girls were delighted with their Valentine treats from Gigi & Pops! Morgan and I enjoyed playing with the ball this morning while Regan finished a game of Suduko!  Last picture -one example of how our treadmill is used by the girls while watching t.v.!! :)

Strike a Pose!

We are definitely thinking about princesses and our upcoming trip to Disney! Regan's new favorite book is Where the Sidewalk Ends by Shel Silverstein.  She will just sit and read the short stories/poems.

Catch me if you can!  Morgan, too, has her preferred picture pose. Tilt head to the side; tilt head to the back - only if you are lucky (and quick), do you actually catch the "straight at the camera smile"!

C will be so glad when I retire the dog outfit.  For some reason, I have loved it with both girls.  Also, note the PURPLE bow - it goes with EVERYTHING (or, so I am told!!) :)

Aggie PJ - Pass Me Down

Auntie Pam passed the Aggie PJs on to me (REE & MEE wore it).  I passed it on to Leah (and Harper is wearing it - if only she'd show us her face!).  I  bet Pam has a picture of the boys in these pjs too!

YMCA Bridgefest 2012 - 3 Years Running Now!

We dodged the pouring rain in time to finish a 1/2 mile race (albeit a post-poned start) in 65 degree weather. Unlike the last 2 years, with highs of 35 degrees, Regan wore shorts in February!!
