Regan woke early & got all dressed up for her special day!! I made pancakes and one in the shape of a #6 for Regan (stealing Aunt Leah's idea), and while it was tasty, it wasn't picture worthy! :)
Gift time...
Both girls closed their eyes for the unveiling of the dollhouse! Regan exclaimed, "You got Morgan AND me a dollhouse!!" And, while the dollhouse was a hit, Regan asked "where are the stairs"? Morgan was still wondering "why did we have to cover our eyes?" Regan loved Gigi's bedding!
The history of the dollhouse...Pops made it for me and I played with it quite extensively (along with all things Barbie!) in my closet. Christopher has been re-painting, "re-tiling", and re-carpeting it for several weeks now. What was once a yellow dollhouse, is now pink! While he did replace wallpaper in 2 rooms, we left some "original" wallpaper - for that "retro" look!
