China Visit (Day 2 of Tour)

Overcast and rain today on tour! Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven & Summer Palace.  My favorites were the Silk Factory (where we learned the stages of a silk worm and actually saw the machines pulling the silk from the cocoon) and the Pearl Factory (we got to pick an oyster from the pond and they pried it open in front of us - exposing some pearls; I learned so much about pearls!
