Angel Fire - Snow Skiing Adventure!

Left for Angel Fire on Christmas afternoon. On day 2, we took a quick diversion to the town of Etter, Texas.  We were literally "blown away" trying to take a picture in the frigid (32 degree), windy air!

On Saturday afternoon, we had 4-5:30pm reservations for tubing.  The temperature was negative with the blustery winds and snow.  I didn't make it past 2 runs, but the rest of the family prevailed!

Always excited and smiling! Heading to ski school on Sunday (8am-3:30pm).

A must do when in the snow!  Snow angels!  This was their first true experience seeing snow!

Regan attempted a snowman...but the type of dry snow limited her ability to go bigger and higher!

We skied as a family on Monday! The girls managed the lifts and continued gaining confidence!

Family picture. So blessed that Gigi and Pops joined us!!

Gigi & Pops; The Etter Family

The girls did the small slope before graduating to the longer, hillier "green" slopes. So proud of them!

Morgan loved riding the ski lift with Pops.

Some pics from the Angel Fire Photographers!

Lunches were eaten at the bottom of the slope!

Energetic little one!  Non-stop smiles. Note the constant posing!!
The "haul" (our extra workout for the day)...clumsy skis, poles, boots!  1.5 block walk to/from slope!
Enjoyed dinner out one night at local establishment. Special treat!

Overall, good trip...enjoyed the snow, skiing, and family time!  Very cold - never got above freezing! Learning experience for next time!  [Redwood Commons]  Our new ornament for the tree!
Enjoyed the warm cabin, game night, and red Dixie cup wine!

Time to head back home. Fresh snow coming down!

Definitely 3 generations of fun!!
