Woodridge - Creative Arts Camp

Regan participated in a 4 day camp (9am-3pm); performing (dance) and non-performing (crafts) "tracks". She performed an awesome dance with her group! So proud of her!

All-Stars and Ponderosa Swim Meet

Morgan qualified at Ponderosa for backstroke - and at All-Stars for freestyle!

Looking comfortable at warm-up!  She swam her freestyle and placed #9 out of 49 people. Only top 8 go on to finals. 1st alternate.

Only 2 girls and 2 boys (6 and under) qualified at Ponderosa. Klein Oaks HS. Backstroke time! Placed #14 (out of 34 kids - Note: she was seeded #33!) & qualified for evening final in consolation.

Girls 6 and under relay team.  Last minute addition of 4 year old to group. Still placed #2!!

Medals. Ribbon for backstroke.  Medal for 2nd place in girls relay.

Had a short break b/t 1-4pm. Stopped off, visited, & watched Conner play baseball - & grabbed a quick late lunch before we headed back to swim and Connor headed back for 5pm game.

VBS Week - Cave Quest

Morgan enjoyed her week at Strawbridge UMC's VBS.  She had several friends participate, including Karlie, Zachary, Jake & Jagger; Crazy hair day and favorite team!

We rode bikes to the library one afternoon. The girls loved the new "kids reading" bench/statue.

Swim Team - Divisionals

Morgan was able to complete a team relay (2nd place) and freestyle (5th place) before having to leave for Regan's play.  A great start to the day! [l-r, Clara, M, Piper, and Marie]

Summer Champs

This swim meet was by "invitation" only.  Proud big sister - hugging little sis after her swim heat!

Morgan was invited based on her prior swim times and placed in free, back & relay!

Main Street Theater (2015-2016)

We all enjoyed this season's plays at Main Street Theater:  Lyle, Lyle Crocodile; Junie B. Jones, Bridge to Teribithia, and Harriet the Spy. Looking forward to next season too!

Last Day of School!

Last day...

Lots of intermittent rain this week - our greenbelt walkways overflow!

Last walk in as a 4th grader and Kindergartener!

And they are off!

Last pick-up from Kindergarten line. :(  But, my first grader-to-be was super happy!

We celebrated with an afternoon movie with lots of Kinder friends - The Angry Birds!

Morgan's final report card = ADVANCED; Meets and often exceeds standard!

Regan is doing exceptional too!  Very, very proud of BOTH of our girls!!

4th Grade Program

REE's 4th grade teacher, Mrs. Adkins, distributed awards - voted "Future Writer" by her classmates.

Her packet also included other awards presented to Regan from other departments - In PE, Regan walked 309 laps (= to > 2 marathons!); certificate from the Principal for her role in Winn-Dixie!

4th grade field trip to Jesse Jones Park

The girls made a video before the STAAR testing...to the beat of "Shake it Off" ("Beat the STARR"). The lyrics were written by Regan.
