Looking comfortable at warm-up! She swam her freestyle and placed #9 out of 49 people. Only top 8 go on to finals. 1st alternate.
Only 2 girls and 2 boys (6 and under) qualified at Ponderosa. Klein Oaks HS. Backstroke time! Placed #14 (out of 34 kids - Note: she was seeded #33!) & qualified for evening final in consolation.
Girls 6 and under relay team. Last minute addition of 4 year old to group. Still placed #2!!
Medals. Ribbon for backstroke. Medal for 2nd place in girls relay.
Had a short break b/t 1-4pm. Stopped off, visited, & watched Conner play baseball - & grabbed a quick late lunch before we headed back to swim and Connor headed back for 5pm game.
