Colorado Trip - Estes Park

Arrived in Estes Park, Colorado.

The girls loved their week at YMCA camp! Hiking was their favorite day!

Enjoyed many hikes within Rocky Mountain National Park!

 First hike - Moraine Park area

Returned again to Moraine Park area on day two with Gigi and Pops!

Such beautiful areas along the hike!!

 A moderate to strenuous 4-4.5 mile hike...

Great weather on all hiking days!

 Evening put-put golf with Gigi and Pops. A first-time golfing experience for the girls!

While they golfed, C & I ran 4 miles with the Estes Park Run Club. Pic in front of Stanley Hotel.

 S'more time!  Fun time with smoke alarms that evening too!

We missed our turn and did an extra mile, but still made it to the lake.  Last stop: STEEP Bible Pt!

Cool evening at the playground! We even had our own rock hunt!!

 A little "down time" on the porch - nice weather and a good book! Need more time like this!!

Worth the rough hike!

 Bierstadt Lake Hike.

We trekked a long way to get into the "lake area" for pics. Not as open & accessible as Sprague Lake.

The hike down was enjoyable...literally walked down the side of a mountain...some of us ran!

Smiles all week.  Morgan drew a picture of YMCA and the Colorado mountains!

Final day. Final hike within RMNP.  Gigi and Pops joined us for this hike back to Sprague Lake!
