2022 Gulf Short Course Champs (Katy)

Well, she gave it her best try (& looked good in her new tech suit), but after fighting a virus all week, she made the decision to pull out of the meet for Sunday's events.  She dropped time on her 500 Free (Friday night) as well as her 200 Free (Sat) - and even made a TAGS 50 Free time in the relay (which unfortunately doesn't count for an individual TAGS cut). She needed a 26.39 for TAGS & got a 26.30!

TUTS: South Pacific

Sadly, this was NOT a family favorite, by any means (some of us may have closed our eyes a bit)...this Rodgers and Hammerstein work first premiered in 1949 on Broadway.  At that time, they were introducing some mixed racial themes.  Weak storyline in today's world, but it was a family outing to end our February break. The songs "Some Enchanted Evening" and "I'm Gonna Wash That Man Right Outta My Hair" were derived from this show.

While girls "do toes", the boys chilled! No more closed-mouth smiles now that the braces are off!!!

Fun at the Dentist

As part of her braces journey, 6 baby teeth had to be removed and she wanted them all pulled in ONE day, not two!  She was my hero that day. (We just got "BEFORE" pictures on this day!! :))

Cake Pop Fun!

 Morgan enjoys baking...and wanted to try cake pops.  Not bad for the 1st try!!

UIL Theatre Cast/Crew - Night Out in Galveston

 The UIL Theatre group had a one night get-away in Galveston for a little team building fun!
