As it has now been a running 17-year tradition, Bertha was passed down from a Sophomore Varsity swimmer to ONE Freshman Varsity swimmer. Morgan was bestowed the honor in first period and excitedly got to carry it around to all of her classes. It is not allowed to touch the floor...and she gets to keep it until NEXT December. At that time, she will pass it along to another lucky Freshman!
